Speed Camera Alerts
Hi. I've had my explorer premium extended for a week now, and am having problems getting speed camera alerts on my navigation maps. I have connected services and am receiving live updates for traffic etc..... but no speed cameras. I have made various searches and all that I am being advised to do is to 'switch' speed cameras on. I cannot find a way to do this, so would be very grateful for any suggestions. Many thanks.

The Ford Explorer EV (MEB) uses SYNC Move (which is based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform software, not Ford’s real SYNC 4 system). In some EU countries, speed camera notifications are legally restricted so Ford/Volkswagen sometimes disable it completely via regional settings. It might also depend on the map provider Ford is using for your region (they partner with TomTom or Here). In UK I think its TomTom and TomTom has speedcam alerts plotted. Try an OTA or ask the dealer for an update, some Explorers seams to have issue with this (perhaps early production?)
