On our Fordpass app, we don't have the option of charge scheduling. Surely this is a fairly basic function?
We had a loan Explorer for 3 months, and now have a different one, we also have android and Apple, so pretty sure it's not the car or limited to a certain platform.
On the Ford website it gives info on how to do it in the old version, but not on version 5.x
Anyone have any information on this?

Ford has said they are "working on enabling more features" for Explorer EV over time since this car are based on VW MEB platform and all software in the car are from VW, especially after mid-2025 with app updates and OTA (over-the-air) vehicle updates.
But today, you can only schedule charging inside the car itself, not from FordPass 5.x.

Ok, thanks for the info. I wouldn't have thought it would take too much effort to add this to the app, it would have been nice if it was done for when the car was released.
