Saw a friend yesterday who has just bought a new Puma , his Ford Pass App was exactly the same as mine but additionally showed the cars current tyre pressures.
The Puma is a real Ford with its own software architecture and real sync4, etc. The Explorer and Capri are built entirely on the VW MEB platform so the software in the car is from VW as well as everything else. The MEB platform (Volkswagen ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID. Buzz, Skoda Enyaq, Audi Q4 e-tron) uses indirect TPMS as standard, but direct TPMS (That real Ford cars use) with display of exact pressure value is only available in some markets outside Europe according to VW.
Just moved from a kia EV6 to an explorer. The app is a joke compared to the Kia app. No control other than lock, unlock or aircon. The symbols for lock and unlock don't identify it it is locked or unlocked. I inadvertently left a rear door open when I played golf. Open for 4 hours.....no notification . Rubbish.

As an aside, what made you change from the EV6? I test drove one and was quite impressed.
Wrt no notification of leaving door open. I've just discovered that if you set car to lock as you walk away.....and set an audible warning....if a door is open it beeps a few times to announce failure to lock.
