Hi, we picked up our new Rapid Red Explorer Premium RWD extended range last week and it's great.
I've paid by debit card at a Sainsburys, which was charged to our bank very quickly.
However we used the RFID card today at an Ionity charging station. My card hasn't been charged yet and other than seeing the 42Kwh on the Ford Pass, I can't see what I've been charged. How long does it take to be billed and does anyone know what the unit rate is with the Blue Oval Premium trial?
Many thanks.
Sorry can’t answer your question as ours is being delivered tomorrow, does the Blue Oval RFID card come with the car and is it easy to set up ?
Just as a matter of interest what dis Sainsbury’s charge you ?
I've charged at Sainsbury's twice now, once at 70p, the other at 72p per kWh. Very quick to charge & easy to use, paying with a contactless payment.
I had to ask for the RFID card as I think they thought I didn't need one, as could use the Ford Pass. I wanted one as better to have one to leave in the car. You just have to add a credit/debit card to work with it.
Does anyone know if you just present your Blue Oval Card at an Ionity Charger for the transaction , or do you have to complete it through the Ionity App ?
Hi Lurcher, you can definitely just use the RFID card at Ionity, but I cannot find out what discount I got. That's exactly why I asked the original question, as I've still not been billed 3 days on!
