Picked up a AWD extended range last week and appear to have a lot of wind noise at around 60mph. Seems to be coming from the near side wing mirror area. Anyone else experienced this?

I get a lot of road noise when driving at higher speed. I think it's a 'feature' rather than a defect (sadly). Efficiency falls pretty quickly at 60-70mph, I'm not convinced it's a very aerodynamic shape and all that airflow is turning into noise.
For example, drive at 60mph then open the driver window. It'll do it's best to blow out an eardrum with how badly the air passes the open window.
