Hi All,

I have seen many people on many different sites report this and similar and was wondering if anyone had anything similar.

Using a Ohme Pro, with Octopus on a schedule for overnight charging at home. Over the last 3-4 weeks the card stops charging at random intervals, for example last night:

- Set to finish charging at 60% input by 8:00 AM
- Charged up until approx 1:00 AM
- Added approx 10%
- Ohme app said nothing after this
- Ford app said Charging Error
- Red light at charging point on car

I would like to think it was the Ohme pro, however I have seen may other people report this with various other wall boxes. I have heard some reporting it may be down to the schedule on the box and to do it via the car instead.

Any one experience this? any suggestions? thoughts?

Happened once to me when I set the Ohme App to charge the exact amount needed to get car to 80%. Now just keep Ohme App to charge to 80% even if don't need that much and seems fine.

I have found that the Octopus schedule changes. I have also requested and received itemised bills as often it schedules charging outside of the cheapest rate period.

The itemised bill showed I was only being charged the cheap rate even when outside of the cheap rate period, so all good.

In terms of charging being interrupted, the only thing that has happened to me is that I have needed to charge to 100% a couple of times but because the Octopus schedule stops and starts, this interruption causes the Explorer charge limit to reset to default 80%.

A bit frustrating.
